AIS has designed and implemented a number of tools which allow analysis and reporting of budget and financial data.
The CERN Expenditure Tracking, CET , provides a versatile and user-friendly way, for budget holders, to view CERN financial data.
CET allows earned value management, contract expenditure tracking and budget code expenditure tracking.
The TREASURY connects the accounting system to a treasury management system in order to have a clear picture of the cash flow situation in real time.
The data is extracted from the Accountancy software, WOS [Qualiac Inference] and consolidated on a nightly basis which allows for the creation of up-to-date reports of current account balances, order statuses, etc.
Contracts Follow Up, CFU [AIS] allows the monitoring of CERN contracts lifecycle. Calendars of Future expenditures related to Divsional Requests, Market Surveys and Invitation to tenders, are held in CFU and are also available from the BHT analysis facilities.
Another data querying, analysis and reporting tool called Business Objects is also provided to Divisional Computing Support persons to create and provide ad-hoc reports which do not exist in other tools.
