With a total of 1337 buildings on its site, CERN uses an AIS designed and developped application, GESLOC, to allow the Divisional Space Managers (DSM's) and their assistants (DSA's) to maintain all information related to their office space and the occupation of these offices.
In addition, GESCLE is used by TS Department to manage doors and keys data, while the Divisional Responsible maintain key ownership data.
Security in the CERN site is a major issue and AIS has made available on the WEB the SOS pages by extracting Safety data from the Foundation database. Divisional Safety Officers (DSO's) are the main users, while the fire brigade maintains the list of first aiders.
