Training

The HR Department at CERN is in charge of answering your training needs in any area such as Management, Computing, Office tools, Computer Assisted Design etc ..

The Core Training Application (CTA) is used to maintain the catalogue of internal courses which they offer and the calendar of course sessions which they arrange during the Training year.
CTA also holds the list of applications and of actual participants in each course session.
CTA is an in-house designed and implemented application, available on the WEB, solely for use by HR.

EDH offers you a user-friendly WEB interface to browse the CTA catalogue of courses and complete a request for internal of external or internal training.

Both applications are based on the Foundation data, where they find reference information such as persons, suppliers etc ..
